ORANGES

NAVEL - A great and juicy orange that is typically seedless, easy to peel and ideal eating. Bache Bros sources premium Australian Navels from top growers in the South Australian Riverland. Queensland and New South Wales. Australian Navels are typically available from April to November each year. Imported Navels are sourced internationally at all other times ensuring year round availability.

CARA CARA - The Cara Cara orange is also known as the ‘red navel’. The Cara Cara is a sweet, low acid orange with a distinctively pinkish red flesh. South Australian Cara Cara’s are available in late winter and autumn.

VALENCIA - A deliciously sweet and juicy orange with bright orange flesh and minimal seeds. The Valencia is great for eating as well as juicing. Bache Bros sources premium Australia Valencia’s from top growers in the South Australian Riverland and New South Wales. Australian Valencia’s are typically available over the summer months each year.

BLOOD ORANGE - The Blood Orange is known for its crimson, almost blood coloured flesh and distinctly raspberry like flavour. South Australian Riverland Blood Oranges are available in late winter and throughout spring.

SEVILLE ORANGE - Seville Oranges are a particularly tart orange with a thicker skin. The Seville contains a higher amount of pectin than other oranges, making it perfect for making marmalade. Australian Seville oranges are available during winter months.

mandarins

IMPERIAL AND LATE IMPERIAL - Imperials are the first to harvest each season, they are easy to peel, have few seeds and a great sweet taste, making them the most popular mandarin variety. Working with a number of growers across Australia, Bache Bros are typically able to ensure consistent availability of imperial mandarins from March to December.

AMIGO - Amigos are a winter variety with deep orange coloured rind that is easy to remove. It is a large, uniform looking fruit with soft juicy flesh with easily separated segments and has few seeds.

AFOURER - The Afourers are easy to peel, low-seeded, have a great taste and a vibrant orange appearance. Typically in season from July to October each year they are perfect to supplement the Imperial mandarin when its season is finishing. Afourers also have an excellent shelf life, making them perfect for holding in your fridge or for transporting long distances.

SEEDLESS HONEY MURCOTT - With a high sugar to acid ratio the Seedless Honey Murcott is the sweetest tasting mandarin grown in Australia. As the name suggests, Bache Bros carries this seedless variety.

LEMONS AND LIMES

Fruit is sourced from South Australia’s Riverland and Adelaide Hills regions, Queensland and New South Wales. Bache has secured a strong supply of premium quality lemons and limes 12 months of the year. Access to international fruit is achievable as required.

GRAPEFRUIT

Available in either Yellow or Ruby varieties and in a range of different sizes and packaging, Australian Grapefruit is available for the majority of the year. Imported fruit can be sourced in December and January.
